Pretty Little Liars

 Pretty Little Liars is a show aired on ABC Family every Monday night at 8:00 p.m. This show is based off the book series Pretty Little Liars. The show is about five friends Aria, Spencer, Hanna, Emily and Allison who live in a town called Rosewood.

The first episode begins with the girls hanging out over summer break at Spencer's house. After being woken up by someone screaming the girls noticed Allison was gone. After looking for her they couldn't seem to find her anywhere. A year goes by and Allison is still missing no one knows what happen to her that night. Suddenly her body was discovered and the policed claimed it was Allison. The girls are upset and can't believe that she is actually gone. After attending the funeral the girls all receive a text message for someone who calls themselves "A". After that first text the rest are threatening and very personal, things the girls only told Allison about. Whoever it is seem to know all the girls secrets and is watching their every move. So the main question on this show is who is "A" and how does "A" know all of their secrets?

There are two main secrets on the first episode. The first one was that the girls we too afraid to tell the police that the night of Allison's disappearance they were all drinking at Spencer's house and that why they really don't remember seeing or hearing  anything from that night. The second secret is that one night the girls where all hanging out and Allison supposedly said that she saw Toby the guy who lives next door peeking in the window, so Allison decided to teach him a lesson. She and the girls walk over to Toby's house and Allison throws in a cherry bomb into his garage without knowing that there are some chemicals in there as well as Toby's younger sister Jenna. Jenna ends up becoming blind and no one knows but Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily that it was because of Allison. Allison was the one who controlled the group and kept every ones secret, now that shes gone none of the girls are safe from those secrets.


In my opinion the longer you keep secrets the more damage it does in the end. The show is very addicting because every time you think you know who "A" is they change it on you and make you think it someone else. I can't wait to finally  find out who it is!!!

Myspace

Our class had an assignment to read two essays about Myspace. The one I chose to talk about was Myspace and Sex Offenders. The essay talk this man, Kevin Poulsen, who ran an experiment and match up database register sex offenders with Myspace profiles and found hundreds of matches. After Kevin story got out, Myspace ended up removing 7,000 profiles that might have belonged to registered sex offenders. They were able to find these people because they used their real name on their profile which doesn't help them out, in the end Myspace is slowly finding a way to block sex offenders from their website. After reading this essay I was happy that  Myspace is starting to do something about having sex offenders on their site, I think all site like Myspace and Facebook should do that, it will be safer for everyone who uses these site and also for children who don't think about who they are adding as a friend.In some ways I feel like there are  some sex offenders who shouldn't even have access to a computer at all.

In this photo you can clearly see a happy married couple and pictures of them through the years. You will also notice that the wife never ages in the pictures but the husband does. This is an ad for antiaging cream and they want to show you that it works through the years. They hope by after viewing this ad you will believe their claim and go out to buy their antiaging. Here's the problem about this ad though, it could all be done by computer to make the wife look like she isn't aging and the husband look like he is. So it will be hard to believe the ad or not, they also have such small print about the product that you can barely read it.

My name is Kendall Livingston,I'm a freshman at FGCU!!! I'm one of two childeren I have an older sister Courtney 23, parents are Mark and Allison.I'm very close with my family, my mom is one of my best friends I live in Sebastian Fl. I like to hang out with friend and dance. I like hanging out with my friends and I've been dancing since the forth grade I want to start dancing again.

An argument that comes to my mind right now is when I was younger I would have friends come over after school to hang out and work on homework. My dad didn't really like when my guy friend would come over and we would get in little arguments about that but he never said anything to my sister when she had her guy friends over. I guess it's just because I was his little girl. Heres a clips from Keeping up with the Kardashians where Bruce freaks out over Kylie having a guy friend over. I know how you feel girl = )
